Data Center World, an\u00a0<\/strong>Informa Tech<\/strong><\/a>-powered global conference for\u00a0<\/strong>data centers<\/strong><\/a>, facilities, and IT infrastructure professionals, has announced new sessions addressing data center security concerns for its Data Center World 2020 event in the US. This event will place March 16-19 at the Henry B. Gonz\u00e1lez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This Data Center World 2020 event in San Antonio, Texas, strives to provide attendees with new and relevant subjects spanning all aspects of the\u00a0data center<\/strong>. It would offer in-depth sessions this year on security to help industry professionals further protect their data centers in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

These new sessions would address concerns as revealed in the latest\u00a0Data Center Knowledge<\/strong>\u00a0report, \u2018Trends in Data Center Network and IT Security<\/a><\/strong>\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the report, respondents were better able to\u00a0secure connections to public clouds<\/strong>\u00a0and improve internal IT processes. Data centers would still depend too much on\u00a0legacy approaches\u00a0<\/strong>though, such as using traditional passwords rather than adopting advanced methods including multi-factor authentication<\/strong><\/a><\/span> and behavioral analytics. Data centers were less vulnerable however to cyberattacks last year, due to better end-user training and education.<\/span><\/p>\n
