Dear Valued Clients,

A couple of weeks ago we announced an upcoming datacenter migration from our current home in GoRACK's 800 Water St facility to the Flexential Jacksonville datacenter. Unfortunately, GoRACK has decided to decomission the 800 Water St facility and provided us with short notice that we needed to vacate the facility.

HostNamaste is in the process of relocating all customer equipment from the GoRACK 800 Water St datacenter in Jacksonville, FL to our new long term home at Flexential's Jacksonville datacenter. GoRACK is decomissioning the 800 Water St facility, requiring us to perform this migration. The migration schedule for our individual host node devices are as follows:

Our Servers Maintenance Date / Time:

  • Jacksonville,Florida-KVM-1: Sunday, August 25, 2019 @ 4:00PM - 8:00PM
  • Jacksonville,Florida-KVM-2: Saturday, August 24, 2019 @ 4:00PM - 8:00PM
  • Jacksonville,Florida-OpenVZ-8: Saturday, August 24, 2019 @ 4:00PM - 8:00PM
  • Jacksonville,Florida-KVM-3: Saturday, August 24, 2019 @ 4:00PM - 8:00PM
  • Jacksonville,Florida-KVM-5: Saturday, August 24, 2019 @ 9:00PM - 1:00AM
  • Jacksonville,Florida-OpenVZ-7: Saturday, August 24, 2019 @ 9:00PM - 1:00AM

All times are in US Eastern Daylight Time (UTC -4)

Maintenance Impact & ETA of Outage:
During the update process, your VPS will be inaccessible.

We are aiming for all migrations to have the least possible downtime. The Flexential datacenter is approximately 20 minutes from the existing GoRACK facility and we will be moving equipment in small batches between August 20 and August 31. Due to the nature of these migrations we cannot schedule custom migration windows and all servers scheduled for a migration window must move during that migration window.

We greatly apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, but we feel this migration offers huge advantages. All equipment that supports dual power feeds will now be provided with redundant A & B power sources. GoRACK did not provide redundant power feeds within the 800 Water St facility, so this was never an option. We will also be expanding all services to include internal private network access over the coming weeks. This was a feature that was previously only available on our E5-2660 machines, but will now be included across all services at no additional cost.

If you have any questions, please Open a Ticket. We apologize for the inconvenience this migration is going to cause and appreciate your continued and future business.
